Limits for unfair dismissal and redundancy payments 2014/15.
Effective from 6th April 2014
Maximum amount of ‘a week’s pay’ for the purpose of calculating redundancy payment is £464.
- The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal is £76,574. Basic award is £13,920.
- Guaranteed payments is £25 per day (when an employee is not provided with work)
Legislation adjusting limits relating to a range of employment rights is made annually. This is to reflect changes in the rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Prices Index (RPI).
