Job Evaluation

There is increasing legislative pressure from the Equal Pay Act and the Equality Act, for employers to prove that they pay their staff fairly and consistently. Consequently, it is essential that staff are remunerated fairly for the role that they undertake and that there is a transparent framework for completing job evaluations. Your staff must know what is asked of them, how they will be rewarded and how their role fits into the structure of the organisation.

The process of creating job descriptions and their evaluation, detailing key skills, knowledge, experience and competencies is not a task to be taken lightly. The scientific approach required provides an objective means of doing all of this resulting in employees or prospective employees being selected and appointed to roles and rewarded based upon objectively identified criteria.
